Audio Visual Material launches trade event projector hire service

Customers can hire Christie and Eiki models for a daily rate, with a week’s rental costing three days hire rate.    Available projectors range from the 4,500 lumens Eiki LC-XG300 to the HD 10,000 lumens Christie HD10K-M.  The distributor can also supply models suitable for warping, edge blending and 3D projection.

Mark Nisbet, AVM’s MD said; ‘The service was developed following a survey of events companies which showed that projectors at the high end of the market were in demand for short term hire.  More specialist projectors are a big investment and will probably end up sitting on an event company’s warehouse shelf for 75 per cent of the time.  It makes financial sense to hire in as and when needed.’  

For an extra £50 customers can add on a ScreenLabs professional folding screen to the hire.  Braced on all sides for high stability, the screens come in sizes ranging from 100-250in diagonal.
