NEC P-Series of Professional Displays for mission critical enterprise applications
The MultiSync® P-Series combines advanced connectivity, next generation functionality and the NEC ‘no-compromise’ approach to manufacturing resulting in the highest benchmark in public display technology.
Richard Wilks, corporate sales manager at NEC, has witnessed the extraordinary growth of digital signage. “AV displays have transformed themselves from being merely functional devices for communicating information to being used extensively for intelligent advertising and mission critical applications. Anticipating continued growth Richard Wilks points out that at this end of market the fundamental requirements will remain. “24/7 operation; reliability in a hostile environment; easy and low cost maintenance; and networkability,” he says. “In an environment where audiovisual technology is providing a mission-critical solution, the importance of those characteristics will be undiminished and the new P-Series is perfectly positioned to meet these demands.”
The line-up comprises of the 40″ P401, the 46″ P461 and the 52″ P521, offering a first-class solution for digital signage and information distribution applications. Their high contrast panels, industrial-strength design and powerful new connectivity and OSD features, make these displays ideal for heavy duty operation in even the harshest of environments such as airports, restaurants, retail, events and other public areas. Advantages include a wide array of inputs, including DisplayPort, unrivalled control and communication options and enhanced video wall capabilities.
Further enhancements include the 1920 x 1080 Full High-Definition image with up to 700 cd/m2 brightness and 4000:1 contrast ratio and a Premium-grade panel with additional thermal protection. Create individually addressable video walls of up to 10×10 displays and with the built-in NEC proprietary Option Slot enjoy seamless integration to current and future third-party add-ons. The P-Series offers the most advanced array of connectivity options including DVI, VGA, component, composite, HDMI, DisplayPort and LAN Ethernet Control.
Enjoy more business-generating and mission critical messaging options with the superior screen performance of the new MultiSync® P-Series.
NEC M-Series. Multeos for Professional AV applications
The Multeos Series conveys ‘kerb-appeal’ where elegance and good looks are as important as the content itself. Image quality and reliability are inherent but where the M-Series performs best is in customer facing environments such as pubs, clubs and restaurants where image is everything.
Business owners who take particular pride in the design of their retail space are often faced with a dilemma when introducing digital signage. An emphasis on technology usually means sacrificing appearance. “It very often happens that store owners choose TV sets when it comes to selecting screens for their digital signage systems – for design reasons,” says Thorsten Prsybyl, Product Line Manager Public Displays Europe at NEC Display Solutions. Their panels, however, fall significantly short of dedicated public displays in terms of quality and reliability. “With the Multeos product range, we are focusing on customers that appreciate professional technology and an appealing design,” continues Prsybyl.
Comprising the 40″ M401, the 46″ M461 and later a 52″ model the M521, the M-Series delivers a 1920 x 1080 Full High-Definition image. Users also benefit from the varied and easy-to-use configuration and connectivity options including DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and LAN Ethernet Control. The NEC Option Slot for expansion modules such as the built-in PC or the DVI Daisy Chain Board offers technical as well as visual advantages.
The elaborate redesign using more efficient components compared to predecessor models combined with the optional stand enable NEC Display Solutions to realize cost savings making the M-Series not just elegant but affordable.
NEC V-Series. Reliable products for cost effective public displays
The digital signage phenomenon is not just for the big boys and need not require a big budget. The NEC V-Series opens the door for smaller businesses to make the transition from traditional signage methods into the digital world.
The NEC MultiSync® 32″ V321 and 46″ V461 come equipped with a high-quality S-PVA panel and offer pioneering control options via LAN in addition to RS232. An HDMI interface also ensures outstanding multimedia connectivity.
The V series meets all the requirements for simple entry level digital signage applications where 24 hour operation is not a necessity. With the free and novice-friendly NEC Digital Signage software, NEC Display Solutions is also supplementing its entry-level series with a professional solution for creating and displaying informative content. Audio-visual messages and self-created ticker reports can be transferred to the display quickly and easily, ideal for hotel lobbies, retail or education establishments.
