SWEP HD+ comes pre-installed with Image Flyer, Sedao’s digital signage software. Fully compatible with SWEP (Sedao Web Enabled Player) administration software, creation, management and editing of displayed messages can be performed over secure web links. The included ‘getting started’ installation of QuickChange has a selection of pre-prepared templates so users can create graphics tailored to their own brand quickly and add RSS feeds, web pages and other content formats including Flash and PowerPoint.

Sedao has also addressed the issue of updating digital signage information such as price lists, restaurant menus, room bookings etc, where the original data is held in Excel, with the introduction of an FTP export feature. Operators can manage their spreadsheets and databases in the normal way and the information is automatically transferred on to the display, to be presented instantly in a graphic.

The addition of FTP also means the freshly updated content can be displayed on devices other than Windows-based digital signage displays, extending the network and range of applications to include almost any type of digital display, including digital picture frames, PDAs and iPhones, web sites and Linux-based digital signage players.
