Paul Ewing becomes VP North American operations at Virtalis

Paul Ewing, has joined virtual reality provider Virtalis, as VP North American operations. His mission is to increase the take up of visualisation and VR technology throughout the continent and drive profitable growth for Virtalis.
RGB Spectrum has announced that Jason Tirado has joined the company as vice president of international sales. In this role he will be responsible for managing RGB Spectrum’s international sales, overseeing expansion into global markets and developing key relationships with strategic partners.

InfoComm International, the trade association representing the commercial audio-visual and information communication industries, recently announced their election results for the 2014 InfoComm International Board of Directors. The announcement saw Electrosonic’s Sarah Joyce, Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), appointed to serve a two-year term on the board.
Ewing’s background is as a global business leader for MCAD and ECAD companies such as PTC and Zuken. He has worked in multiple business sectors such as aerospace and defence, automotive, electronics and medical and heavy equipment manufacturers.
David Cockburn-Price, Virtalis’ MD, said “His focus will be on bringing the power of our immersive, collaborative 3D environments to blue chip companies, both within the US and operating internationally. Virtalis’ offering encompasses both display systems and software, so Paul’s expertise in both these areas is especially valuable to us.”
Ewing lives in the Dayton/Cincinnati, Ohio area near the Virtalis office in Kettering, Ohio.
