Shure Distribution has announced a partnership with RADA, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Shure will support RADA with equipment for its live and studio productions plus for its theatrical sound design and location recording courses.

Shure and RADA will ensure that the technical training offered on RADA’s courses incorporates industry-standard theatre technology, thereby giving prospective technicians graduating from RADA the best possible start in their careers, and also allowing both partners to support their common ethos of sharing and furthering specialist knowledge and expertise.
Shure will support RADA with equipment for its live and studio productions plus for its theatrical sound design and location recording courses. These include Shure shotgun, dynamic and wireless microphone systems, and Sound Devices recorders for field use. Shure Applications Engineers will also get involved in creating and delivering tuition for the students on RADA’s Specialist Sound and Technical Theatre and Stage Management (TTSM) courses, including key modules and hands-on training on wireless microphone use and RF spectrum management.
