XL Video invests in new Barco HD projectors

XL Video has announced a substantial investment in new Barco high-brightness projectors. The purchase includes a total of 66 new projectors – 44 x HDF-W26s and 22 x HDQ-2K40s – the latest models from the Belgium-based manufacturer.
Projection continues to be a growth area for XL Video with Barco’s HD-20 devices used for projects such as Roger Waters’ ‘The Wall’ Tour and the Buckingham Palace projections for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert.
The new HDF-W26 projectors have already been added to XL’s equipment catalogue and will replace the older 20K projectors over time.
The new HDQ-2K40 projectors, which offer 40,000 lumens output, will be delivered by Barco later in 2012.
