Nokia and deadmau5 to combine for 120m high projection on Millbank Tower in central London

Nokia is to team up with music producer deadmau5 and 3D projection artists for a one-off show in central London to mark the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows Phone. The event will see deadmau5 perform in front of London’s Millbank Tower to a backdrop of 3D projections on the full length of the 120 metre building.

The event, at 9pm on the 28th November will be free for all spectators, who will be able to view the half hour performance from the North and South sides of the River Thames.

John Nichols, director of marketing for Nokia UK, said: “The launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 really signals a new dawn for the company, and we wanted to celebrate this with a spectacular event to match the phone. The location will allow thousands of people to come and experience something truly amazing and different to anything they have seen before. Fans around the World will also be able to watch the event on our Facebook page.”

  5. Hi, The editorial above says “The event, at 9pm on the 28th November will be free for all spectators, ” The 28th is a Monday. But Paul’s comment says it’s on Friday!! Clarification needed please. Regards. Azzy.
