NEC teams up with Luidia for interactive whiteboard kit

NEC Display Solutions Europe and Luidia have announced that Luidia’s eBeam technology will feature in NEC’s newly launched NP01Wi line of interactive whiteboard kits.
“The integration of Luidia’s eBeam technology into our projector mount enables all NEC’s short and ultra short throw projectors to deliver advanced data interactivity to customers,” said Klaus Auerboeck, director, product management projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “Our customers will be able to not only view, but collaborate on, projected content in real-time. This leads to more exciting, engaging and, most importantly, productive classrooms and workplaces around the world.”
The system will integrate Luidia’s interactive technology directly into NEC’s projector mounts, providing customers with advanced data collaboration capabilities to capture and share projected content in real-time.
Roy Erez, Luidia’s SVP of worldwide sales and business development said: “Organisations are asking for richer, more engaging meeting experiences, because they result in important benefits, such as increased productivity, in the classroom and workplace.”
The optional NP01Wi module will be compatible with NEC’s U Series and M Short Throw Series projectors.
The new interactive whiteboard module will launch in Europe in November 2011.
