The 150,000-capacity Talladega Superspeedway has upgraded its audio system, with the installation of 101 Community R.5HPT loudspeakers and 50 R.5-Sub subwoofers.
The previous units at Talladega, home to Nascar, were mounted on the track’s ‘wheel fence’, obscuring the view of some spectators and posing a safety risk in the event of a crash. The weather-resistant 16x16in speakers are mounted on 12ft poles behind the fence for a safer spectator experience.
