Samsung Techwin has introduced the SDP-860 high definition Digital Presenter, aimed at the education sector.
Capable of 1080p images and SXGA at 30fps, the product is being pitched at installations within schools, colleges and universities.
The SDP-860 supports DVI output and has a widescreen display, enabling connection to PDP and LCD devices. The unit also features Samsung Techwin’s ISP chipset and 2D/3D noise reduction technology, alongside a built-in microphone.
A digital 48x zoom capability and optical lens with auto-focus can view documents up to A3, on one screen. An optional microscope adaptor can be provided for microscopic viewing.
The SDP-860 has an onboard storage capacity of 32GB. Samsung’s Page Detection feature uses motion detection, automatically saving book pages or A4 documents onto SD memory cards when they are viewed.
