Speaker provider JBL tackles clarity with CBT launch

JBL has launched the CBT series of passive line array columns to provide constant directivity and coverage, as well as audio clarity in difficult acoustical environments.
The CBT Series, which uses JBL’s patent-pending Constant Beamwidth Technology circuitry, features one model that provides an asymmetrical pattern for more consistent front-to-back sound levels within the room while reducing reflections from the back wall.
It is being aimed at traditional column applications, but also for projects where larger point-and-shoot speakers would normally be used, or where more expensive digitally steered columns might otherwise have been required.
Applications for the CBT Series include lecture halls, board/meeting rooms, retail stores, theme parks and places of worship.
