Panasonic has launched the PT-D5000 projector for use in higher education, conference environments and for digital signage applications.
The PT-D5000 replaces the PT-D4000, and improves over the 4000 series projectors in picture quality, set-up flexibility and ease of maintenance. The PT-D5000 achieves a stand-by power consumption of 0.3W, below the EU maximum of 0.5W from 2010.
Panasonic’s LAN control has been designed to speed up system set-up and management for the short installation timescales frequent in lecture theatres. To combat the lack of image detail when the projector is used in well-lit or daylight environments, Panasonic’s System Daylight View 2 improves brightness perception for viewers by adjusting sharpness, gamma curves and colour corrections.
