Polycom’s RPX HD telepresence first in Regus Hotel suites

Polycom has opened its first publicly available Regus telepresence suite – in London’s Berkeley Square – equipped with Polycom’s RealPresence Experience High Definition (RPX HD) system as part of an initiative with Cable & Wireless.
The site is the first in a global rollout that will take in 14 cities. Regus plans to open suites in Paris, Singapore, New York and San Francisco this year.
Jim Marsh, Cable & Wireless CEO for Europe, Asia and the US, said: ‘This will be a new way of working for many businesses where cost savings and improved productivity are realised immediately. It will give video users the opportunity to expand their footprint without the need for significant investment in new hardware.’
