The digital signage network at Malpensa Airport was implemented at Terminals 1 and 2 which have recently become operational. The new network comprises 40 multimedia LCD totems of 57in. At Linate  Airport, the digital signage network is based on 41 vertical LCD totem screens in the same size. The displays in Milan’s main subway stations include 67 LCD totems (57in) which are currently being installed.

Italian outdoor advertising company IGPDecaux, initiated the digital signage networks and operates the displays. The LCD totems were manufactured by Hantarex.

Dooh.it, a Turin-based designer and installer of digital signage networks is managing their content, and coordinated the entire installation.

The Hantarex single- and double-faced vertical totem screens have been developed individually and ad hoc, each one with different characteristics to respond to the specific needs of the placement, and to optimise the screens’ visibility.
