ACC Liverpool hosts Liberal Democrats party conference

The ACC Liverpool is playing host to more than 5,000 delegates and 1,600 global media staff at the Liberal Democrats party conference this week.
Booked with the venue in 2007, the profile of the event has taken on heightened significance, being the first Liberal Democrat Conference since the formation of the coalition government.
The event attracts global media attention to Liverpool, with some 1,600 local, national and international press and media attending.
There are also over 80 exhibitors at the event, including EON, Royal Mail and Lloyds Banking Group.
Some 206 fringe meetings are being hosted at ACC Liverpool and an estimated 200 additional fringe meetings are taking place across the city.
