Mike Cuckow, who has been with Cabletime for five years as sales manager for the territory, is tasked with increasing sales revenue and expanding market presence by working more closely with Cabletime’s partners.

Vlismas has a background in telecommunications and networking, having spent a number of years at Nortel working on their telephony, data networks and unified communications solutions.

He replaces Stewart Carne, who has moved to Hong Kong to take up the role of technical sales manager for Cabletime Asia.

Nick Bradford, managing director at Cabletime, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome George, whose experience will be essential in providing help and guidance to our customers.

‘We are sorry to see Stewart leave the UK office, but very pleased that he will be able to continue using his expertise to help our Asian customers.  I also believe that Mike’s new role will have a significant impact on the motivation, management and training of our sales teams, partners and distributors across EMEA and Asia Pacific.’
