AMX launches power management unit

It is a 1RU rack-mounted NetLinx PDU, which gives power control by monitoring energy consumption of each connected component, and restricts power to any or all devices when not in use.

With eight individually monitored and controlled AC outlets, built-in 12-volt power supply, two sets of four AxLink Bus Strips and power monitoring for each outlet; the NetLinx PDUcan is suitable for decreasing standby power expenditures, and preventing possible damage to components from overheating.
