The Imago Group has been named in The Sunday Times International Track 100, a league table ranking Britain’s private companies with the fastest growing overseas sales. Imago is the only company involved in the video communications sector to be included in the list.
The league table, which appeared in last weekend’s Sunday Times newspaper, measures the latest two years of a company’s available accounts, and is put together by Fast Track, an Oxford-based research organisation.
Imago was ranked 54th as a result of its overseas turnover increasing by 67 per cent between 2007 and 2009. Imago has six offices across Europe and has opened further subsidiaries in South Africa and China, both of which have been identified as growth markets by the Sunday Times.
Ian Vickerage, MD of Imago Group said; “Because our business is not primarily in export, this makes the listing is even more gratifying. It is interesting that despite the fact that video communications is a growth sector, we are the only company representing it in the table. We have seen a rise in demand for solutions that help businesses to communicate better and this, together with a proactive approach, a lot of effort, and a skilful team of people has brought us international success.’
