Apple sells two million iPads in 60 days

The prolificity of the iPad can be in little doubt after Apple reported sales of over two million units in less than 60 days since its US launch.
Apple began shipping iPads in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK this past weekend, with more countries to follow later this year.
The device allows users to connect with ‘apps’, content and the Internet using touchscreen technology.
It has already been touted for possible uses in digital signage and systems control. Companies including Crestron, AMX and Broadcast Pix have all produced ‘apps’ for the device.
