Christie opens Cannes with Robin Hood screening

Projection giant Christie’s Solaria CP2230 2k model has been used to screen Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood, which opened the Cannes Film Festival.
Christie’s Brilliant3D technology delivers an output power of 32,000 lumens (CP2230) on screens up to 100ft (30.48m) wide.
It will be providing digital technology for all the films at the 63rd Cannes International Film Festival and recently reached the milestone of 11 000 active 2K digital cinema installations around the world.
The Christie Series 2 projector features Academy Award-winning DLP Cinema technology from Texas Instruments.
