Saville Audio Visual has upgraded the video conferencing facilities at the TSYS offices in York by designing and installing a three-screen conferencing system. TSYS, a payment processing company based in Georgia, USA ,established its international arm in the UK in 1999. The international HQ in York provides support to clients, both across Europe and internationally.
An HD Tandberg vcon system and an AMX touch screen controller were installed, together with a bespoke media wall module. The facilities also include full HD video display and PC presentations via an interactive Sympodium monitor mounted on the lectern.
The company’s aim was to upgrade the existing infrastructure to meet the changing needs of the business, moving away from an ISDN-based videoconferencing system. As a global company with offices in the US, Brazil, New Delhi, Russia and Cyprus, the decision was taken to upgrade to an IP-based Tandberg system, which has improved the ability to communicate between offices via the company’s WAN (Wider Area Network).
