Reflex to host Technology Day at Twickenham in June

The event aims to showcase new av products, and also  includes a series of seminars, live demonstrations, and technical advice direct from the manufacturers. More than 30 manufacturers are confirmed to participate so far.

Technology on display includes touchscreen technology which is effective through glass up to 20mm thick,  display technology which is completely modular, reconfigurable and self calibrating, and environmentally friendly, mercury free projection technology.  

Four interactive seminars cover a range of issues:
 
Seminar 1: Program sound for flagship lecture theatres, auditoriums and large spaces

• Program sound systems for music, cinema and presentations compared
• An insider’s guide to audio systems for large spaces
• Ask a system design and acoustics guru

Seminar 2: What can you expect from the future of digital communications?

• Find out about OCS, CMA and the latest developments in Telepresence
• The communication experience and how it is available to everyone

 Seminar 3: The challenges with HDMI/HDCP exposed

• The pitfalls of HD signals
• Content projection
• The solutions to future HDMI restrictions

Seminar 4: The interactive edge to touch and collaborative technology

• Learn how a team can be displaying creative thoughts on a digital display in seconds
• Understand how screen touch systems help create an environment for teams to share ideas, communicate and save time
• Live demonstrations on how to collaborate with remote team members in real time as if they      were sitting right next to you

 
In keeping with the rugby theme, 20 visitors will win a tour of the stadium on the day of the exhibition, with other prizes including two tickets to an international rugby game and mino HD Flip video camcorder.
