Advanced visual distribution company PSCo will be launching Prysm’s revolutionary new Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) technology at Screen Media Expo 2010.
This is the first showcase of this groundbreaking screen technology, showcasing 25″ LPD screens in a videowall formation, with the technical teams from both PSCo and Prysm on hand to answer all enquiries. The technology is hotly tipped to revolutionise the professional display world, thanks to its design flexibility, low power consumption, and eco-credentials, with each LPD panel drawing just 30 watts of power, making it around seven times more efficient than an average LCD screen.
PSCo’s Managing Director Stuart Holmes explained:
“The PSCo stand at Screen Expo will be a hub for new display technologies. If visitors are looking to investigate scalable videowall technologies or the latest big screens in the market then the site features all the latest technologies including Prysm’s LPD screens, the new Inifnite Plasma 4250 and the latest 12 series giant plasmas from Panasonic.”
The new Infinite Plasma OPM-4250 is the fifth generation of bezel-less plasma technology and boasts improved colour reproduction, increased digital input compatibility and the ability to address a wall of up to 100 screens without external processing. This will be displayed alongside an NEC X461UN ultra narrow LCD and a Samsung UTn LCD to help visitors to view the difference between the technologies. Samsung’s stunning new sunlight readable LCD screen will also be on display, perfect for outdoor digital signage applications.
Panasonic’s stunning 12 series 103″ and 85″ Panasonic Plasma screens will be displayed, for which PSCo offer a unique support package to enable simple integration, including bespoke lifting equipment, a bespoke transportation system.
