Gefen has introduced a videowall controller to create HD images spread across four displays stacked in a 2×2 configuration. It has a metallic enclosure to make it rugged and is being aimed at the rental and staging and sigital signal sectors.
The Video Wall Controller outputs HD video up to 1080p full HD from a single PC or video source using DVI connectivity. When combined with computer applications, resolutions are supported up to 1920×1200. One DVI input is split to four DVI outputs connected to four HD displays. Video can be spread across all four displays or just three, two or one display, giving users additional control over the creative content.
Its independent bezel adjustments control borders when the image is spread across multiple displays.
An RS-232 port and IR remote control are included for convenient control options.
