InfoComm and the National Skills Academy are among the names offering free seminars at the PLASA Focus event in Leeds. The event takes place on April 27-28 and is aimed at the entertainment and installation technology sectors.
The list of free seminars includes;
The Theatres Trust Annual Conference- ‘The Principles of School Theatre Design’.
The NSA (National Skills Academy) on the importance of accreditation for the future of the industry.
The Wexford Opera House – The technical director’s take on how the new home for opera came into being.
Julie’s Bicycle- The not-for-profit organisation helping the music industry cut its greenhouse gas emissions tells how to build climate responsible businesses.
The SMA (Stage Management Association) will present a discussion forum for production managers.
UK Rigging and Total Solutions Group will host a workshop exploring the legal requirements and practicalities of inspecting work equipment & PPE working at height.
