One WU7 has already been installed in the Virtalis ActiveWall system in the University’s Development Suite, which will enable technicians to familiarise themselves with the technology prior to the commissioning of the new ActiveCube later this Spring. This contract will also contain multiples of the WU7, along with Christie Mirage HD12 projectors.

The £1.5 million equipment order has been transported to the University’s NVision Centre at the newly-acquired Grade II-listed Newton Building (formerly known as Kingsley Park). The site is also home to to the University’s School of Science and Technology and the East Midlands Non Destructive Testing Centre.

The NVision Centre has been made possible due to £3m of funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with further financial support from East Midlands Development Agency (emda) and Northamptonshire Enterprise.
