Epson ships 60 millionth HTPS-TFT panel

Epson has announced it has just shipped its 60 millionth high-temperature polysilicon (HTPS) TFT panel for 3LCD projection systems.
Epson has supplied HTPS-TFT panels, the key component in 3LCD projectors, for more than 20 years.
In 2009 the company launched full-scale volume production of the world’s smallest XGA panel, the world’s first WUXGA panel and development of the world’s first 4K resolution panel.
