Samsung to launch 3D LED TV in March

Samsung will beginning a roll out of 3D TV models beginning in March, starting with the LED 8 Series, LED 7 Series, and the LCD 7 Series.
Proprietary 3D glasses developed by Samsung will also be available to support the launch.
Samsung has alos announced it has joined forces with DreamWorks Animaton and Technicolor to accelerate the worldwide deployment of 3D. This initiative will see Samsung launch a 3D Blu-ray player, and a promotion that includes a 3D Blu-ray version of DreamWorks ‘Monsters v Aliens’.
All of the 3D models will feature built-in Ethernet connection, wireless-ready capabilities, and Internet TV.
Samsung’s 3D products all include Samsung’s proprietary built-in 3D processor and emitter that is optimised for, and enables compatibility, with multiple 3D standards including half and full HD resolution formats as well as the Blu-ray Disc Association approved Blu-ray 3D standard.
Samsung has included in its 3D processor an auto-conversion technology that renders 2D content into 3D in real time, users can add a level of depth and clarity to a live content with the push of a button.
