Panasonic’s Japanese executives visit UK school to learn about education technology

Six executives from Panasonic’s Japanese headquarters have visited a school in Berkshire to find out more about the use of technology in UK schools.
Linda Stephens, a teacher at Luckley-Oakfield School has been testing future Panasonic products in her classroom to guage their effectiveness, and she hosted Panasonic’s ‘Classroom of the future’ presentation at the BETT Exhibition earlier this month.
Following the show the six executives from the Japanese headquarters wanted to futher understand how UK schools use technology.
During the visit staff at Luckley-Oakfield learnt that in Japan technology does not feature as part of school life or as a tool to aid pupils or teachers.
