mvision installs video conferencing into London Golf Club

The London Golf Club has adopted mvision’s managed video conferencing service to support the venue’s corporate meeting, event and conference business. Available to both the Club’s membership base as well as casual and corporate visitors, the Tandberg systems are designed to offer visitors more efficient communication, reduce business travel and improve work/life balance.
Austen Gravestock, general manager at London Golf Club explained, ‘Videoconferencing is commonplace in the business world, but is rare in a golf club. It gives us a real competitive advantage. The managed video conferencing-as-a-service from mvision is a very affordable way for us to provide access to such sophisticated facilities for our customers and greatly enhances our event and conferencing offering.’
The Tandberg hardware was supplied and installed in the Club’s oak-panelled Club Room at no additional cost to the monthly managed service subscription. London Golf Club is connected to mvision’s dedicated video network to ensure business-class picture and sound quality that is more reliable, and superior to public internet service or ISDN (telephone lines).
