Christie Roadsters at Moscow Nano Forum

The Second Nanotechnology International Forum organised by the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (ROSNANO) was held in October. The venue for the Forum was Expocentre in Moscow. ART Polymedia was in charge of the overall equipment of the convertible hall for plenary sessions and the forum’s formal events hall.

The Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev opened the session. He emphasized the particular significance of nanotechnology development for the national economy and also noted that the largest investment program in the world in the field of nanotechnology is being implemented in Russia today: 318 billion roubles will be allocated to it by 2015.

ART Polymedia was commissioned to develop the solution for the integral video environment in Hall 5 of Pavilion 7 at Expocentre. The hall was to be used for the Plenary Session of the Forum, and then converted into three independent sections. ART Polymedia had a very short turnaround time to convert the video installation into three independent areas with two screens in each.Pavel Berezin, technical director of ART Polymedia explained: ‘Two 13×3.6-metre panoramic screens were installed right and left of the central stage. The images were projected on each of the screens with the help of 3-Chip DLP Christie Roadster high-light-output projectors – two Christie Roadster S+16K and one Christie Roadster S+20K. Two 4.6×3.6-metre additional screens were installed by the sides of the larger ones’.
