Jack Morton Worldwide has celebrated the 15th year of its relationship with SWIFT (The Society of Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications), a member-owned cooperative through which the financial world conducts its business. The cooperative comprises over 8300 banking organisations in more than 200 countries.
Since 1994 Jack Morton has delivered the conference programme for Sibos, a financial services event hosted by SWIFT for its membership.
Sibos comprises a exhibition (>220 exhibitors), a social programme and conference programme incorporating plenaries, ‘big issue’ conference sessions/ debates, special interest sessions and fringe sessions. The content of these sessions ranges from the visionary and aspirational to the technical and tactical.
This 15th year anniversary also coincides with the signing of a new agreement between Jack Morton and SWIFT. The agreement runs until 2012 and will take in the next four Sibos events being staged in Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Toronto and Osaka respectively.
