Maverick wins exclusive Samsung projectors distribution deal

The agreement gives a-v and business resellers access to the full range of Samsung products – from entry-level LED projectors, up to 4,000 lumens models.

The appointment of Maverick as its exclusive distributor for projectors, underlines Samsung’s commitment to the channel and the development of projector business in the UK says Dominic Webb, general manager of Samsung AV. ‘Maverick has tremendous knowledge and expertise in the projector market and will provide Samsung partners with real focus and support. We are looking forward to working with them to help resellers open new opportunities and drive their sales growth with Samsung projectors.’

Samsung offers projectors from entry-level LED models designed for small businesses, portable pico projectors, through to models that are specifically designed for home cinema and for educational, corporate and professional use. The company is planning to extend its range over the coming year and will be looking to recruit more active partners through Maverick.

As an special introductory offer, Maverick is offering a replacement lamp for any new Samsung projector purchased at just £49. On most products this represents a saving of £200 or more and thus provides resellers with an added bonus and opportunity to boost margins or offer additional benefits to the customer.
