Christie performs an exceptional 3D presentation for the Screen Advertising World Association (SAWA)

Christie, worldwide leader in digital cinema projection systems, today announced that it participated in the 56th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the annual worldwide advertising event which took place from 21st-27th June, 2009 in Cannes (France). As a partner of SAWA (Screen Advertising World Association), Christie supplied its CP2000-XB projector for the conference hosted by SAWA on 22nd June at 3pm at the Esterel theatre.

Partnering with Cannes Lions for the fifth year in a row, SAWA hosts every year a round of conferences about current media and advertising issues, such as alternative contents, the expansion of 3D projection, engaging the audience through interactive games, positive and active emotions generated by the motion picture medium… This year’s conference on 22nd June at 3 p.m. at the Esterel theatre focused on the impact of an advertising concept on the five senses, and on showing how new experiences enabled by the motion picture medium can increase consumers’ product and brand engagement.
