Samsung expands distribution channel

Samsung has boosted the distribution of its Digital Presenter range with the appointment of six distributors in Europe. In France, the country’s largest a-v distrubtor, FVS, will be introducing the full range of Digital Presenters to its network of dealers, whilst Cofemo and SIDEV have also taken the products on board.
Russian distributor CTC Capital has added the Digital Presenters into their product portfolios as have DS-Displays A/S in Denmark and AplusK in Holland.
Ian Myhill, European channel manager for Samsung Techwin’s visualiser division commented; ‘We are determined to grow our market share throughout Europe and we will therefore be looking to introduce other leading and specialist distributors into our growing network of business partners over the coming months.’
Samsung have recently added to their product offering with the launch of two Digital Presenters. The top of the range 16:9 HD format UF-130DX has a built-in AMD processor and an on-board Windows CE operating system, whilst the SDP-850DX has 44x zoom capability and 1/3in progressive scan CCD camera sensor.
