Audio Visual Machines (AVM) has been successfully certified to install and maintain Polycom’s telepresence systems. Sandy MacPherson, chairman of AVM, said ‘Global economic forces are driving the widespread adoption of video conferencing…We are seeing outstanding growth in this area thanks to the cost savings and productivity improvements Polycom’s telepresence and video conferencing solutions offer.
The Polycom Service Partner Programme is a service authorisation programme which sets quality standards for partners who provide services and support to customers as they integrate voice, video and data into core networks.
‘We look forward to working closely with AVM as a certified telepresence partner,’ said Paul Louden, vice president for Polycom UK and Ireland. ‘The investment made by AVM in training and technology will provide their customers with the peace of mind that AVM has access to technical support and assistance whenever and wherever they need it.’
