AV Magazine will host the second in its Roundtable Series, on the subject of corporate a-v in a downturn, on Thursday 3 September.
Key issues up for debate will include justifying a-v upgrades in the present economic environment, integration on a budget, the rise of video-conferencing, web-TV, cost versus value, environmental issues, training and a-v versus IT support.
“The economic downturn has thrown-up significant opportunities for the AV industry as well as a unique set of challenges,” said AV publishing director, Paul Twite.
“The ‘no travel’ policies of some large multinationals have pushed video-conferencing to the fore and offered a tangible cost-benefit to a-v technology upgrades,” he added.
The first AV Roundtable, held on 9 July, focused on live events attracted key end-user buyers from some of the market-leading a-v live event and production agencies.
