This year’s AV100 Summer Summit will take place on 2 June and will focus on the two issues that are continuing to dominate the a-v agenda: effective leadership in recession, and what the future landscape of professional a-v will look like post-recession.

The event, taking place at Haymarket’s London offices in Hammersmith between 4 and 6pm, will feature a keynote address on leadership in recession followed by a panel discussion and open floor debate on the Future Face of AV.

‘2009 will go down as one of the most challenging years for business. Times are testing even the sturdiest of organisations, compelling managers and boards to manage and lead differently. Our keynote speaker is no stranger to the boardroom – or economic downturns – and will define what makes a successful leader in the face of recession,’ said Bhavna Mistry, AV’s editor.

‘Equally pertinent is what the end-user will be looking for in 2010 and how a changed landscape will define how we do business. We’ll be asking the people at the forefront of professional a-v, from manufacturers to end-users, what products and technologies are likely to come to emerge, and how the channel will adapt in the face of consolidation, buy-outs and closures,’ she added.
