100,000 Dynacord PowerMate delivered

Dynacord has reached the milestone of 100,000 sales of its PowerMate powered mixer. The unit was launched in the mid 1990s and features four integrated components – mixing desk, power amplifier, equaliser and effects unit – in one box.
The PowerMate range now features four products, the 600, the 1000, the 1600 and the 2200.
Josef Taffner, who as developer played a role in shaping the design of the PowerMate said, ‘Almost all the engineers and technicians in the PowerMate development team are musicians themselves. We knew from our own experience what qualities, in an ideal world, a power mixer ought to possess and were also able to meet the requirements of our customers in a logical way.’
