Samsung offers grants for document cameras

‘Our goal is to help teachers upgrade the quality of technology tools in American schools,’ said Richard Bellomy,  vp of Sales for the Electronic Imaging Division. ‘Document cameras have been found to be an extremely useful tool in classrooms with a profound effect on the students’ involvement and interest in lecture materials, ultimately improving overall class performance.’

Any K-12 teacher in a United States school is eligible to apply and applications should be submitted on or before June 15, 2009. Awards will be delivered to winners no later than September 1, 2009.
