The series features a new user-inspired DSP engine co-developed with sister company BSS Audio and Linear Phase FIR filters.

According to Mark Graham, president of Crown Audio: ‘I-Tech HD is our new flagship amplifier and advances the state-of-the-art on seven fronts. It is a destructive technology in the sense that it obsoletes all that came before it.’

He added: ‘Next-generation OmniDriveHD DSP engine is at the heart of the I-Tech HD series, which is built on a new architecture specifically optimised for fast and efficient audio processing to provide tour and contracting professionals with a new platform for signal processing.

The new FIREWALLTM FIR filter technology provides significantly improved midrange clarity and dramatically improved off-axis response. The OmniDrive HD reduces latency, safeguards sonic integrity and advances system reliability.  AudioCore features 24- bit, 192 kHz A/D and D/A converters.’
