The first model to be equipped with Quadrive technology is the PLC-XP200L, which offers 7,000 lumens. In-organic LCD panels facilitate a contrast ratio of 2,200:1 and it is being aimed at installations from board rooms and auditoriums, to digital signage or event installations.

The PLC-XP200L also benefits from Sanyo’s Auto Maintenance Filter (AMF) system. This system automatically replaces the projector’s air filter when required, increasing the interval between maintenance cycles and reducing the cost of ownership of the projector.

Sanyo‘s AMF system uses a cartridge system to automatically replace air filters up to ten times, removing the requirement for manual filter maintenance for up to 10,000 hours. Once all filters of the system have been used the projector can be reloaded with a new filter cartridge by the user.

The projector employs a ‘one-touch’ quick release lens system which means the PLC-XP200L eliminates the requirement for any tools during a lens change. The PLC-XP200L offers five optional lenses ranging from a fixed short throw lens to a long throw zoom lens, and is also compatible with lenses previously available with Sanyo’s XP range of projectors.
