Editor’s Comment: The debate over digital signage

The company held two open days recently, with advertising agencies and high street brands amongst those visiting. Two more days are to be held in September to help spread the word.

The product will directly compete with the recently released Philips/PPC 3DWOWvx system.

The system is being aimed at the music or gaming industries, anywhere where the product can benefit from a 3d presentation. A touchscreen option is available, making the system suitable for foyers or kiosks. There are four models available at present; 19, 24, 46 and 63in screens, all LCD displays. The larger models come with an embedded PC inside, and are networkable, so remote access and diagnostic checks are possible off-site.

The sales and distribution channels for the products are still under discussion at present, the product is only available in the UK, but plans are underway to offer the product worldwide.
