HaiVision‘s MAKO-HD codecs has been designed specifically for the challenges of full-HD telepresence. It achieves 1080p resolution, 70 millisecond end-to-end latency, full frame rate performance, and simultaneous WXGA 60Hz support all within the hai1000 multi-channel high density architecture. The hai1000 supports up to 10 codec channels within a 3U system. A typical telepresence suite includes a hai1000 system with four codec blades (channels). Traditional conferencing systems usually support only one channel per system, and for HD, usually at 720p with reduced frame rate, and at a significantly higher end-to-end latency.

HaiVision’s hai1000 and MAKO-HD technology are deployed within network video deployments in the healthcare, house of worship, broadcast, defense, and IPTV segments.
