Audio Visual Machines (AVM) has bought systems design and installation company AVE.
AVE generated revenues of 5.5m in the financial year to December 31 and was profitable, says AVM, which has now made its fifth acquisition in the last two years.
The AVE turnover will add a third to AVMs business, which turned over 10m in its financial year to June 2007.
AVE is a market leader in the fast growing digital signage market and this latest acquisition will enable us to achieve our ambition of becoming the dominant a-v systems integrator over the next 12 months, said Sandy MacPherson, the chairman of AVM.
AVMs consolidation strategy is backed by Octopus Private Equity and HSBC.
