The rare sight of two Peregrine Falcons nesting on top of a high rise building in the centre of Manchester has been  brought to passers-by.

 via the BBCs Big Screen technology with images streamed through Cabletime MediaStar Evolution.

The falcons were monitored by the RSPB and a camera was set up by the BBC to link created to the its big screen sited in Manchesters Exchange Square.

To show the action live, the BBC decided to run a trial using using Cabletimes MediaStar Evolution, which takes a feed from the camera, digitises it, and plays it out live over the internet.

BBC Big Screens are part of the BBCs Public Space Broadcasting media concept, a collaboration between the BBC, video technology providers and UK city councils.
