Imago Takes On Sony Vcon

Sony videoconferencing systems are to be marketed by distributor Imago Micro.

Sony and Imago plan ‘a campaign to expand the videoconferencing market’ which will incluyde appointing new resellers and carrying out a full training and support programme

Imago is to be the only UK distributor selling the news Sony PCS-1600 system, which comes with an auto-tracking camera, audio conference facilities and multi-point conference handling. The unit  is designed to be easy to install and can handle T.120 spec collaborative working.

Future launches from the Imago/Sony combination will include the PCS-6000P, which doubles as a videoconferencing unit and a multimedia terminal.
