Nec Displays Goes To Midwich

Midwich is to distribute the full range of NEC Display Solutions public display products.

The deal, effective from this month, will see Midwich stocking 32in to 57in LCD displays, including NEC Displays recently launched 57in monitor, its MultiSync LCD5710. The 1080p unit is aimed at airport and retail applications as well as at broadcast and corporate users.

NEC is already our largest audio-visual partner, so the addition of the large format LCD displays will allow us to offer a more complete corporate, SME and education solution to our reseller partners, commented Lee Baker, divisional manager, Midwich.

Adding Midwich to our distribution channel will give us greater presence within the small and medium a-v reseller community, added NEC Display Solutions sales director Simon Jackson. The ability of Midwich to supply the complete NEC a-v portfolio, and the solutions expertise that it offers through True Colours, will deliver considerable benefits to our customers.

Midwich was appointed by a UK distributor for NEC computers in August 2006 and has sold NEC plasma and projectors for more than four years.
