Blitz has won the contract to provide the audio systems for the five city tour of the Take That musical, Never Forget.
Blitz has won the contract to provide the audio systems for the five city tour of the Take That musical, Never Forget.
The production, which had its premiere in Cardiff last month, is now moving to runs at venues in Manchester, Stoke, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Blitz is providing a 52 and 44 way frame, Cadac mixer front of house and a system of three Cadac D16s and M16s, providing monitor mixes to an Aviom system for band foldback.
The show’s sound starts with a 38 way Sennheiser radio microphone system, comprising five 1046 receiver racks with SK50 and SK5012 transmitters.
Blitz is also providing six 5200 handhelds with Neumann KK105 heads. The loudspeaker system is all Opus Audio comprising eight AT1000 and eight SB218 for the main system, with 30 ISO 6 for front fill and delays
It is a development of the system used with great success at the Shaftesbury Theatre by sound designer Richard Brooker, in charge of Never Forget, for Daddy Cool.
