Imago Group buys Touchline Video

European video conferencing distributor Imago Group has bought the business of AV and video conferencing distributor, Touchline Video. Previously known as Review Video, Touchline has been designing, implementing and supporting video conferencing systems customers for more than 20 years.

Smarter Interactive launches cloud-based video conferencing system

IT consultancy Smarter Interactive, has launched a new cloud-based video conferencing service. Any users can trial the system, with no obligation, as long as they have a camera fitted to their PC or laptop. Smarter Video Conferencing offers users the ability to connect to any device with H323 or SIP standards, including PCs, Macs, Apple iOS (for iPads to iPhones), smartphones or Android tablets.

LifeSize video conferencing links meetings of global leaders

The Global Leadership Foundation (GLF), a group of 34 distinguished former leaders which exists to support current national leaders across the globe, is using LifeSize video conferencing to change the way it communicates as well as cut costs. GLF Members include figures such as Nobel Peace laureate FW de Klerk and Lakhdar Brahimi, currently serving as UN peace envoy to Syria.
